You'll likely clear the entire map before you run out, but if you do, just craft some more. Now each "mana potion" gives you unlimited mana for a ridiculously long time. At higher intelligence, you craft potions at a higher strength. The default timescale is 30 (1 in-game day 48 real minutes). A value of 10 will make it ten times as fast as real-time (i.e., one in-game day lasts 2.4 hours), etc. A value of 1 makes the day go at real-time speed an in-game day would last 24 hours in real life. I downloaded a program that lets you set Morrowind's resolution without starting the game, and it says it's missing the registry keys.Merchants in Morrowind sell a constant restock of certain ingredients. I looked for the registry files (where they say Morrowind stores the settings) but couldn't find any. I removed the read only flag from everything but the settings keep going back to default. This file houses some of the instructions and settings the game engine uses to build the game world- including lighting, water, & weather parameters, and links for asset archives or accessory game files (mods) to load. I tried not using compatibility and just setting it to run as admin, but the above mentioned loop happens all the same. In the PC version of Morrowind there is a configuration file file called Morrowind.ini in the root directory of the game. I tried compatibility (with every kind of windows version known to man) and it opens the admin thing, I say yes, it opens the pre-start menu from where I choose the datafiles and such, I press play, it enters a loop where it opens the adin thing, I press yes, and it reopens the pre-start windows again. The game never crashed before resetting the settings. It's gotten to the point where I click on the icon, open the pre-start windows, change the resolution there, save, exit Morrowind and when I click the icon again the resolution there is back to default. It even reset the pre-start options (where you can choose the graphic card and a resolution up to 1600x1200). ![]() In short (like Jerma), this did not work. I changed them to what I wanted but they didn't stay there. The only fix I found was on a steam thread where a guy basically turned off steam cloud, ran Morrowind as administrator, changed key binds, quit game, re-enabled cloud strife, then download conflicting files to cloud when given the option, then your good. This morning I start the game and all settings are back to default. The settings were still good, same as before uninstalling. Steam downloaded very old saves and such from cloud. Had to delete and install again yesterday. The resolution settings were 2560x1440, max view distance and realtime shadows. I installed morrowind months ago, played it for a while recently. So, let me explain why this is different from previous threads. ![]()
